Azerbaijan participated at the UN Annual Bazaar organized in Geneva

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office and other International Organizations in Geneva participated at the Annual Bazaar organized by the United Nations Women’s Guild on 22 November 2016.

The objective of Annual Bazaar traditionally hosted every year at the United Nations Office at Geneva – Palais des Nations is to raise funds for disadvantaged children around the world. 

The Annual Bazaar attracts more than 6000 visitors including the administration of Canton and City of Geneva, diplomats, representatives of international organizations in Geneva and other guests.

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan organized the national stands to demonstrate the culture, art, traditions and cuisine of Azerbaijan. At the end of the event the financial contribution on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan was transferred to the UN charity fund.
